Digital Projection Club competitions 2010-2011
If you are not familiar with the Digital Image Upload procedure for the monthly competitions then please follow the steps below.Uploading your image for the next competition We have provided an upload facility that will allow you to enter your image into the competition directly from your PC. The basic steps are:
If you have correctly followed the guidelines, your image should:
Click the 'Add Files' button on the upload facility window. This will show a standard windows/Mac file browser so you can navigate and find the image that you have prepared.
To enter your image into the competition you have to upload it.
Please check the 'status' messages for any errors relating to the upload. This may indicate that the image was too large or some other error has occurred during the image upload. If you cannot upload your image please contact the webteam stating the exact error message you are getting. Warning! If your image in NOT 1400 pixels on its longest side the uploader will re-size the image to fit the competition rules. This may result in a loss of quality especially if your image is smaller than this size. Renaming your image In order for the competition secretary to arrange the entries the filename MUST conform to strict naming conventions. The uploader does not verify the format but using the format will ensure that the competition secretary will be able to enter your image as you intended. The naming convention is: CLASS_Your Name_Image Title.jpg (e.g. B_Paul Irving_Great Image.jpg) where 'class' can be B (beginners), I (intermediate) or A (advanced).
If you change your mind and wish to enter a different image then you may delete the one that has been uploaded.
Good luck with your submissions!!
