Logging in to the website and maintaining your account.

Registered members of Winchester Photographic Society have the ability to enter the members only area of this web site.

You can register your account now by clicking the here and follow the simple instructions. Once you have applied for an account the webteam will then check that you are indeed a member of Winchester Photographic Society and then approve your account. You will receive an email stating that your account has been approved. Please read this email carefully as it will contain other useful information.

I have my username and password now what?

Simply enter your chosen username into the box labelled 'username', then your password into the box with black dots and the padlock icon and click the login button. You will then be able to access the members' extra features of this site.

I entered my username and password but got an error saying 'username or password invalid'

Check that you are entering the right username, this will be the one you registered with and will have been confirmed in an email to the address you entered. If you still have difficulties contact the webteam.

The most likely cause, however, is that the password is incorrect or has been forgotten. In this case simply:

Click on the 'Forgot password' link
Select the 'reminder needed for lost password' button
Enter your username in the labelled box
Enter your email address that is registered to the account in the labelled box
Click 'Send Username/Password' button.

You will then receive an email with a new password.

I have received my new password but I don't like it and will never remember it. How can I set it to something I like and will remember?

Whether you have received a new password because you forgot your old one, or you perhaps feel its time for a change then simply:

Login to the site with your current password
Select this link: I'm Ready to change my password
Enter your new password in the 'Password' field and again in the 'Verfiy Password' field.
Click the button labelled 'Update'.
